The Dark Knight Returns trilogy is about to come to an end. The third (and last) part of these comics will be available on November, and tones of comic book artists are participating by drawing and painting alternative covers. This fact inspired me to do my own "cover", a tribute to all of the work Frank Miller has done while working on Batman. This is one of my biggest works and i really loved doing it. I wanted that anyone who looked at the image automatically thought of Frank Miller's Batman, so i tried to use a drawing style similar to his and to use the same colors Klaus Janson did. I wanted the transition from Batman: Year One to The Dark Knight Returns to be seen, so that's why I made a reference to each of the comic books. Can you see them?

La trilogía de El Retorno del Caballero Oscuro está a punto de terminar. La tercera (y última) parte estará disponible en Noviembre, y muchísimos artistas están participando dibujando y pintando portadas alternativas. Este hecho me ha inspirado a hacer mi propia "portada", un tributo a todo el trabajo que Frank Miller ha hecho en Batman. Este es uno de mis mayores trabajos y me ha encantado hacerlo. Quería que cualquiera que mirase la imagen pensara automaticamente en el Batman de Frank Miller, de forma que utilicé un estilo de dibujo similar e intenté utilizar los mismos colores que utilizó Klaus Janson. Quería que se notase la transición de Batman: Año Uno a El Retorno del Caballero Oscuro, y por esa razón hice una referencia a cada uno de los cómics. ¿Puedes verlas?
